Universal City East is a new mixed-use condo development by Chestnut Hill Developments in Pickering. This pre-construction project is located at 1496 Bayly Street by Bayly Street & Liverpool Road in Pickering’s Bay Ridges scenic neighbourhood.

The condo is part of Universal City’s next phase and will feature a 26-storey tower condominium with 302 units. Investors can expect that this development will be conveniently located in Pickering with easy access to exceptional transit, highways and some of the best local amenities.

Amenities

Universal City East Condos is expected to have modern architectural finishes. Due to its prime location at the corner of a major interaction, it will feature a more captivating design; This includes a 4-storey podium with a 22-storey tower rising out of it; a uniquely waved balcony design and modern colour palettes. It will also feature large windows and spacious balconies available for every unit.

Once completed, the residence will feature a three-level underground parking garage accessible from Sandy Beach Road. This will include a total of 258 vehicular parking spaces broken down by 213 resident spaces and 45 visitor spaces. In addition, the condo will have 149 bike spaces for residents and visitors.

The main entrance to the residential building is located at the rear of the building, and a secondary entrance, which connects to municipal sidewalks, is located at the southwest corner of Bayly Street and Sandy Beach Road.

This condo will have 592 square-metres of indoor amenity space and 592 square-metres of outdoor space for a total of 1,184 square-metres. The ground floor consists of a residential lobby; four residential units with associated outdoor private amenity space facing Sandy Beach Road; indoor bicycle storage area, garbage and loading areas; and, indoor and outdoor amenity areas adjacent to Bayly Street.

Indoor and outdoor amenity spaces are proposed on the fifth floor and will include an outdoor swimming pool. On different levels of the residential building, the developer wants to include green roofs, as a sustainable development feature.

Location & Neighbourhood

Universal City East will be located at 1496 Bayly Street in the burgeoning City of Pickering. This pre-construction project is part of Phase 6 in the Universal City master-planned community development. The site is conveniently located at the major intersection of Bayly Street and Liverpool Road.
This luxurious condo will be only two minutes away from the Pickering GO Train, taking residents to Union Station in only 30 minutes. It sits in close proximity to excellent shopping centres, including Pickering Town Centre, Pickering SmartCentre and Pickering Market, all just 5 minutes away.

Not only is this a great site for urban amenities, it is also rich in green amenities such as the Pickering Waterfront and all of its bike paths and hiking trails.
