Thunderbird Phase 2 at One Valahalla

Edilcan's sleek, recently opened three-tower condominium project, and has just unveiled its Phase 2: Thunderbird Condos.

The 35-storey glass-clad Thunderbird Condos will rise above One Valhalla's first 22-storey tower, and will contain most of the amenities for the entire complex, including an indoor pool, club bar, lounge and theatre.

It's precisely this sort of personal luxury that Thunderbird Condos will embody; after all, it is named after Ford's first personal luxury car: the 1955 Thunderbird. 

This 1950s inspiration has been used in One Valhalla's colourful advertising, and interior designers Munge Leung have incorporated retro-style pieces throughout the suites' contemporary design.

One Valhalla is located on the former site of one of Canada's first motor inns, the Valhalla, and designers plan to incorporate some of its original 1960s artifacts into the new residences, such as reusing the stonework!

Features and Finishes

The Tower B, or Thunderbird Condos will have ceiling heights at around eight feet from floors five through twelve, eight feet and eight inches on floors thirteen to twenty eight and eight feet from twenty eight to thirty five except in the bathrooms. The bedrooms will have 40oz broadloom carpet and the living areas and dining room including kitchen will have beautiful plank laminate floor with comfortable underlay. The new Etobicoke Thunderbird Condos will also feature white ceramic tiling in the laundry, storage and mechanical rooms and mirrored sliding doors as per plan. The white décor rocker light switches and insuite laundry facilities with front loading stacked EnergyStar rated washer and dryer are vented to the exterior. The Thunderbird Condos will also have aluminum swing windows an the kitchens will be designed using Euro style kitchen cabinetry with full height pantry in natural woods and matte lacquer finishing. The kitchens will also have granite counters, over head track lights, stainless steel brand name appliance set and stainless steel single or double bowl sinks. The bathrooms at the new Thunderbird Condos will feature matte lacquer finish cabinetry with rectangular recessed sink, vanity width mirror, soaker tub, white plumbing fixtures, pressure balanced valves and handheld shower spray in shower enclosures. The building itself will have concierge service and owners will also have easy access to the Valhalla Express, a shuttle to nearby shopping and transit. There are tones of security including fob entry and enterphone system and each suite is pre-wired for suite intrusion systems.

There are plenty of new Thunderbird Condos floor plans to choose from that include the one bedroom suites between 562 Sq.Ft. and 715 Sq.Ft., the larger having the extra den space. In addition, all of the one bedroom Thunderbird Condos floor plans have outdoor living space that range from twenty eight to eighty three square footage. The larger two bedroom Thunderbird Condos floor plans include a large layout at 837 Sq.Ft. with outdoor living space around 46 Sq.Ft.. There is also a two bedroom plus study layout that is 885 Sq.Ft. with 46 Sq.Ft. exterior living space. All of the new Phase Two Thunderbird floor plans are available for downloading online.

Designed by award winning Page & Steele Architects, One Valhalla will also consist of 68 townhouses.
