2175 Keele Street Condos Summary
This comprehensive project will convert the site of the former Humber River Hospital – which remains vacant – and its surrounding 10 acres on a parcel just north of the upcoming Eglinton Crosstown LRT.
 
2175 Keele Street Condos is a mix of townhomes, mid-rise condominiums by The Daniels Corporation and Diamondcorp in the North York. This new pre-construction project is located at 2175 Keele St. This development occupies ten acres on the east side of Keele, backing onto Woodborough Park.
 
It’s a highly-anticipated transformation, spearheaded by one of the region’s most experienced mixed-use community developers.
 
Amenities
2175 Keele Street Condos will add 731 new residential units to the neighbourhood. Seven mid-rise buildings would be added – reaching up to eight storeys – along with nine three-storey townhome blocks. Currently, international firm Graziani + Corazza is slated to handle the project’s architecture. Comprising 731 new suites in total, the overall unit mix would consist of: 54 studios, 400 one-bedroom, 222 two-bedrooms, 55 three-bedroom units
760 parking spots are proposed, to be housed in an underground garage. A new public road would run east and west through the site, connecting with Keele, while a public park would occupy the northeast corner of the parcel, connecting with the adjacent Woodborough Park. The entire site is slated to be professionally landscaped by Ferris + Associates, which will blend the development into the leafy ravine lands which mark the neighbourhood.
 
Location & Neighborhood
2175 Keele Street condo building takes advantage of the upcoming Eglinton Crosstown LRT, which will have its Keelesdale Station just a short walk south. Expected to be up and running within the next few years, the LRT will add almost 20 kilometres of rapid transit across the city, providing residents with more transit options than ever before. For this reason, investing in property on or near the LRT is a smart move.
 
This part of neighbourhood features a mix of residential and employment use and it’s only just beginning to see an increase in contemporary condominiums.
